Greetings and salutations! Welcome to my place of refuge where anything can happen. But mostly...mosaics.

Since I was a little girl, I have always loved creating things. One of my fondest memories is of sqeezing liquid goo into a mold, plugging it in and creating "Creepy Crawlers." Then there were the paint-by-number sets, Etch-a-Sketch, lanyards, potholders, ceramics, and my favorite - mosaic ashtrays.

I have been dabbling in mosaics since 2005 when a stained glass project for my daughter begged to be turned into a mosaic. Before that I always kept busy with some sort of arts and crafts; sewing, crocheting, drawing, leather work, pottery, jewelry making, and stained glass.

Although I haven't yet found my particular form and style, it's a lot of fun experimenting, learning, and meeting other folks who are also on their journey and those who are there already!

About Me...

Born and raised on Long Island and upstate New York, a last born and left to fend for myself, I connected with nature at an early age. My first love was making pots out of clay. Creating a vessel out of mud was the greatest diversion  for me for quite some time. Just when I was getting good at it, I delved into stained glass and it wasn't long before mosaics became the obsession. It's all uphill from here!
